changing of the seasons
Growing up and living in the northwest has made me a fan of the outdoors and our wonderful array of seasons. I love the fact that we get all four seasons and my favorite times of the year is the changing of these seasons. Each of these seasons has an amazing power to put me in a different mood. Kate Chopin seems to use this power that nature has on our moods in her writing. She’s very talented at putting weather into her stories and letting the weather convey the type of emotional atmosphere that the character in the story is experiencing at the time. I can relate to this because the weather has always been able to affect my mood and whether I want to go out and party, just relax in my back yard with my dog, or maybe go work on one of my project cars.

Well, Regy, we're about to get one of those season changes. I gotta say, I'm slightly less than stoked about it.
I strongly agree that weather affects our mood. The week that school started was really warm, and I was in a decent mood, then this week, wow, it has been like 50 degrees, and cloudy, and I honestly have not been too happy at all. I know that nautre isn't the only thing making me feel this way, but it definitely is not helping in the least.
definitly same here. But I'm more closely related to whether it's cold or not outside. I have lupus, which gives me another disease called raynauds, instead of feeling cold, it's pain. Usually the changing of seasons enacts a visual sense in everyone, to me it envokes the other senses.
i'm gonna have to agree bro the changing of the seasons is probably the best parts of the year. . . like today my car was covered in frost but when i went out in the afternoon i was too warm for a jacket. . . spokane is a weird place my friend
I've gotta say, completely agree. I've been to quite a few places in the world, and spent a lot of time in India. Nothing's quite like the Pacific Northwest. 4 Seasons, good temperatures (mostly), city that's not too big, not too small, overall, I just love Spokane. And I also enjoyed Chopin's use of seasons in her writing. It reminded me of Spokane and all the seasons we go through here.
